Senior Software Engineer - Integrations (C#)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid work arrangements

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain business services and APIs.
• Troubleshoot existing applications, services, and APIs and implement fixes.
• Deploy and manage services and APIs across environments using CI/CD.
• Build automated integration and unit tests, perform peer code reviews, and enforce engineering standards.
• Participate in architecture discussions, user story reviews, sprint demos, standups, and agile product teams.
• Train, coach, and mentor software engineers and interns while collaborating with architects and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including recent work developing services and APIs.
• 8+ years of experience with object-oriented principles, solution design, automated testing, validation, error handling, SQL databases, and SQL programming.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile development, Swagger or OAS, C# or a similar object-oriented language, and Postman or other integration testing tools.
• 3+ years of experience with event-driven architecture, event publishers and subscribers, AsyncAPI, and the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
• Experience implementing and consuming microservices, reading and producing system design artifacts, and working with CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, MuleSoft, or similar API gateway technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
