Solution Release Manager (Healthcare Technology)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs and software releases through General Availability.
• Define and maintain the release calendar for EMR updates, hotfixes, and major functionality rollouts.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Security, and Solution Management to establish Go/No-Go criteria and lead release readiness reviews.
• Coordinate release-related triage, dependencies, deployment risks, scheduling conflicts, and program blockers.
• Translate technical release manifests into stakeholder communications, release notes, deployment playbooks, and client rollout guidance.
• Improve release and program management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Release Manager, Technical Program or Project Manager, or Scrum Master in a complex software environment.
• Experience with Agile frameworks, version control concepts, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong matrix management, communication, stakeholder alignment, and technical-to-business translation skills.
• Must work onsite in Overland Park, Kansas, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours for maintenance windows and release activities.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, or EMR/EHR systems.
• Background in regulated healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, patient safety, or HL7/FHIR workflows.
