What you will do

• Organize, review, and manage environmental and geospatial datasets.
• Support GIS mapping, spatial analysis, visualization, web mapping, and spatial database activities.
• Georeference and digitize historical maps, aerial imagery, and environmental records.
• Prepare maps, dashboards, technical graphics, reports, and client deliverables.
• Conduct environmental research, data collection, interpretation, and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, geologists, analysts, and other technical professionals while exploring AI, machine learning, and automation tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, data science, GIS, or a related field.
• Coursework or experience in GIS, geospatial technologies, environmental data analysis, or spatial statistics.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and work independently and collaboratively.
• Initiative, curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or similar GIS platforms.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or Arcade.
• Experience with data analytics, dashboards, data visualization, or database management.
• Exposure to machine learning, artificial intelligence, automation, or generative AI technologies.
• Previous environmental, geospatial, or data-focused internship, research, or project experience.
