Senior Product Manager - AI Gateway

Location: Remote, California, United States. Travel is approximately 25%. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.

Salary: $132,000–$188,600 USD annually for other U.S. locations; regional ranges may reach $235,200 annually. The role is also eligible for annual bonus compensation.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for AI Gateway capabilities within the Agentic AI Platform.
• Translate AI ecosystem, API, integration, agent interoperability, and architecture needs into epics, features, requirements, user stories, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture on gateway patterns for agent discovery, registration, authentication, authorization, invocation, routing, lifecycle management, monitoring, and versioning.
• Define safe and governed access for models, agents, tools, and APIs, including permissions, tenant isolation, usage controls, secrets handling, audit logs, and policy enforcement.
• Drive developer, partner, and customer experiences through onboarding, documentation, certification, diagnostics, testing support, and release readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and establish measures for adoption, reliability, security, latency, invocation success, policy compliance, and customer value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Insurance, or Product Management.
• At least 6 years of experience in technical product management, platform services, software engineering, AI product management, platform-as-a-service, or related roles.
• Experience owning complex platform, integration, developer, API, AI, or ecosystem product capabilities.
• Experience working with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, customer-facing teams, partners, and business stakeholders.
• Experience translating ambiguous technical and business problems into product strategy, roadmap priorities, requirements, release plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of APIs, cloud-native multi-tenant SaaS, agentic AI, model routing, identity and access management, enterprise security, governance, and interoperability patterns such as REST, OpenAPI, MCP, and A2A.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced experience.
• Experience with developer platforms, integration platforms, marketplaces, registries, partner ecosystems, enterprise security, large language models, or agentic AI.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance, InsurTech, financial services, or another complex regulated industry.
