Principal, Technology and Cyber Risk Management (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Identify emerging technology and cybersecurity risks across artificial intelligence, digital assets, quantum computing, cloud/SaaS, and identity and access management.
• Review and challenge significant technology strategies, initiatives, and architectures from an independent risk perspective.
• Conduct technology and cybersecurity risk assessments, deep dives, testing activities, operational exercises, and incident response activities.
• Design testing tools, risk assessment frameworks, metrics, dashboards, and assessment reports for enterprise use.
• Partner with stakeholders to define remediation plans, document findings, and report outcomes to management and senior stakeholders.
• Plan deliverables across assigned initiatives, mentor junior team members, and support risk training and awareness activities.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a highly regulated technical or security-related field.
• Current professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, management information systems, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert knowledge of emerging cybersecurity and technology risks, including AI, digital assets, quantum computing, cloud/SaaS, and IAM.
• Strong experience with application security, infrastructure, and technology risk assessments in large, highly regulated financial services organizations.
• Strong project management, communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and advisory skills.

• Background in security consulting or senior advisory roles.
• Experience scoping engagements and developing technical or risk-focused proposals.
