Oracle Software Engineer II (802) (Oracle EBS)

Location: Onsite in or near Pasadena, California, United States. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

What you will do

• Review business requirements, gather stakeholder needs, conduct fit-gap analyses, and map current- and future-state workflows.
• Recommend Oracle configuration updates and support the implementation of approved functional designs and system changes.
• Develop, update, test, and optimize scalable Oracle SQL/PLSQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Build and retrofit Oracle interfaces, APIs, data loaders, custom extensions, and Form Personalizations.
• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate system bottlenecks, manage Oracle Service Requests, and apply functional and technical fixes.
• Create functional and technical design documentation, support testing and user training, and provide bi-weekly status reports.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience designing, developing, reviewing, testing, deploying, and supporting Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, reports, interfaces, conversions, and workflows.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning, Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Concurrent Programs, and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience supporting Oracle Financials modules, including AP, PO, PA, FA, GL, and SLA, as well as month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting.
• Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.X implementations, upgrades, patching, enhancements, integrations, OAF, DFF/KFF, FNDLOAD, alerts, and AOL components.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GIT, Informatica, OBIEE, Oracle APEX, SQL Developer, TOAD, data extractors, data warehouse solutions, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience participating in user testing and acceptance throughout the development lifecycle.
