Software Engineer II (Oracle EPM)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States. Primarily sedentary office position; 10–20% travel required.

What you will do

• Manage, administer, and support Oracle Enterprise Performance Management applications, including monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Develop EPM modules and functions based on technical designs, and create conversion and implementation plans.
• Build and manage metadata, data loads, and other integrations using Data Management, Data Integration, EPM Agents, and related tools.
• Develop calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, EPM Automate scripts, and REST API integrations.
• Apply forecasting techniques, machine learning, and AI capabilities to improve planning accuracy and automate EPM processes.
• Work with Solution Architects and Project Owners to translate business needs into EPM solutions and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Around five years of experience implementing Oracle EPM Cloud business processes and modules, including PBCS/EPBCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, and FCCS.
• Hands-on experience with EPBCS application development, security setup, metadata and data-load integrations, and report writing.
• Experience with EPM Cloud machine learning capabilities, EPM Agents, Oracle Integration Platform Manager, and advanced planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong experience with predictive analytical models, cash reports, reporting, ETL, and SQL queries.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio, Hyperion Essbase, EPM Automate, REST APIs, and calculation or Groovy scripting.
• Ability to understand complex technical and business concepts, communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, and train less senior associates.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCMCS and ARCS.
• Knowledge of IBM Showcase Warehouse Builder Sets, FDMEE, and DRM Oracle tools.
• Experience with Oracle 9i/10g/11i and SQL Server environments.
