Lead Software Engineer (Oracle EPM)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; primarily a sedentary office position with 10–20% travel required.

What you will do

• Manage, administer, support, and continuously improve Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
• Design, configure, develop, test, and implement EPBCS modules, web forms, business rules, and financial reports.
• Build and manage metadata and data integrations using Data Management and Data Integration tools.
• Administer monthly and quarterly close processes and support rolling budget and forecast models.
• Develop calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, EPM Automate scripts, and REST API integrations.
• Translate business and financial process needs into EPM solutions while collaborating with Solution Architects, Project Owners, client teams, and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Cloud modules, including PBCS/EPBCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, and FCCS.
• End-to-end lifecycle experience covering requirements gathering, configuration, design, development, testing, and go-live.
• Hands-on experience with EPM application builds, security setup, metadata and data loads, report writing, ETL, and SQL queries.
• Strong functional knowledge of financial systems, financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience providing application support, troubleshooting, end-user training, and working in waterfall, hybrid, or agile environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCMCS and ARCS.
• Knowledge of IBM Showcase Warehouse Builder Sets, FDMEE, and DRM Oracle tools.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle 9i/10g/11i, or SQL Server.
