Location: Spokane, Washington, United States; initial in-office training followed by hybrid workplace flexibility. Relocation assistance is available to eligible candidates who must relocate.
Salary: $66,200–$99,900 annual base salary; typical starting range $66,200–$88,700, plus a 10% annual performance-based incentive target.

What you will do
- Analyze general ledger activity, financial data, and tax-sensitive transactions for accurate accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, tax accruals, calculations, estimated payments, return support, schedules, and workpapers.
- Research and apply federal, state, and local tax requirements, GAAP, income tax accounting guidance, and regulatory standards.
- Support quarterly and annual tax, financial, regulatory, and compliance reporting.
- Identify reporting and process issues, recommend solutions, and implement approved improvements to controls, documentation, analytics, and review procedures.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, and business partners while supporting accounting systems, testing, upgrades, and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Typically three to five years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, tax, or a similar professional environment.
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, income tax accounting, and tax compliance.
- Experience with general ledger systems, GAAP and tax research, technical accounting or tax memoranda, tax calculations, provisions, reconciliations, and compliance schedules.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, accuracy, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
