Senior Analyst, Valuations

Location: Washington, DC; in-office 4 days per week

Base salary: $110,000–$115,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Maintain, update, and develop corporate valuation models and valuation analytics.
• Work with GTS and business teams to define requirements for valuation automation and database systems, including AI-enabled process improvements.
• Prepare fund- and investment-level valuation metrics, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Manage valuation databases and coordinate interactions with downstream systems.
• Coordinate with Fund Management teams on valuation committee meetings, deliverables, policies, and valuation inputs.
• Identify standardization and efficiency improvements across the valuation process and assist with reviewing investment valuations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with database systems and Microsoft Access.
• Working knowledge of valuation concepts, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling for operating companies, real estate, energy, or debt/equity instruments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to develop financial and operational models.
• Ability to use AI tools, work across departments, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly.

Nice to have

• CFA certification or progress toward the CFA.
• Experience defining business requirements and working with IT teams to develop systems.
• Ability to create presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
