Operational Compliance Manager

Location: Sacramento, California, United States; in-person branch assessments and up to 50% travel required.

Salary: $85,600–$111,200 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, company standards, policies, and protocols.
• Conduct branch business reviews, compliance assessments, co-location reviews, and regulatory audit-readiness activities.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for pest control licensing, certifications, regulatory changes, and state board complaints.
• Maintain licensing records, coordinate initial licensing and renewals, and ensure credentials are assigned correctly to employees.
• Resolve compliance issues, prepare assessment findings, support regulatory mediation, and advise field and business-unit leadership.
• Build and deliver on-demand and face-to-face training to help technicians and field leaders obtain and maintain required licenses.

Requirements

• Degree in entomology, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of structural pest control industry experience, specifically in field operations management and regulatory compliance.
• Previous regulatory experience in California or Hawaii is required, with California experience being most critical.
• Ability to obtain and maintain pest control licenses and regulatory credentials across multiple states; a valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, Google Suite, other data analytics tools, and familiarity with AI tools.
