Functional Safety Engineer - Student (Automotive)

Location: Bucharest, Romania. Applicants must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Romania at the application stage. The role includes a work-from-home policy and flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Contribute to functional safety and cybersecurity deliverables, including impact analysis, safety and cybersecurity plans, software tool evaluations, and safety cases.
• Help plan safety confirmation measures and cybersecurity audits according to assessment plans.
• Monitor the execution and acceptance of safety confirmation and audit activities.
• Support deployment of the corporate functional safety process at project level.
• Identify and report project-level safety risks.
• Support the Project Functional Safety Manager in interactions with safety assessors.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in learning development methods required by ISO 26262.
• Conscientious and reliable approach to work, including security-related tasks and activities within security certifications.
• Valid visa and work permit for Romania required at the application stage.
