TL;DR
Plant Support Engineer (Manufacturing and Quality): Ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of plant operations with an accent on root cause analysis, process optimization, and long-term equipment performance. Focus on implementing FMEA, control plans, production documentation, design changes, and PPAP requirements across plant operations.

Location: Sannicolau Mare, Romania; onsite plant role

What you will do

  • Support plant operations and new product development at MC West Methods Lab Romania.
  • Coordinate technical activities across production, maintenance, quality, and engineering.
  • Participate in business planning and cost-reduction projects using MCIP, IMCIP, and Six Sigma.
  • Implement FMEA, control plans, P4A quality planning, and OSA activities.
  • Implement engineering changes, drawings, and major design-change documentation in production.
  • Ensure accurate production documentation, department training, and compliance with customer PPAP requirements.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in a technical field.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards, process improvement techniques, and quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, and APQP.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
