Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Partner with the CISO to define and execute the enterprise information security strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
• Oversee security operations, engineering and architecture, governance, risk and compliance, and physical security.
• Provide security metrics, executive dashboards, initiative tracking, and risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop security managers and senior technical staff while owning workforce and succession planning.
• Serve on the incident response team, lead post-incident reviews, and support crisis tabletop exercises.
• Coordinate security initiatives across IT, information governance, and other business functions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive information security experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience leading security teams and managing security during M&A, digital transformation, or rapid growth.
• Strong expertise across governance, risk and compliance, security architecture, operations, identity and access management, application security, or cloud security.
• Experience in both enterprise and cloud-native security environments, including security budgets and vendor relationships.
• Ability to communicate security risk to executive audiences and lead decisively during incidents and crises.

Nice to have

• Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
