Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Lincoln Sq, Manchester, UK; hybrid work with attendance at the office or client site a minimum of 2 days per week, and up to 5 days per week on a client site depending on the assignment.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end security architectures for projects and programmes.
• Create conceptual, logical, and implementation architecture views.
• Design secure system architectures using security patterns and principles.
• Manage business and security risks through architecture decisions.
• Review and improve clients’ existing security measures with innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams using agile practices.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in information security.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, or SABSA.
• Experience delivering security solutions for large-scale infrastructure or integration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants for applicable UK roles must meet security-clearance requirements, including British citizenship or at least 5 years of continuous UK residency; background checks and Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance are required.

Hiring process

• Initial call with a technology recruiter.
• Two 60-minute competency or technical interviews.
• Final 60-minute meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and client-centricity discussion.
