Security Architect Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office or on client site, and up to five days per week on a client site depending on the assignment.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end security architectures for projects and programmes.
• Create conceptual, logical, and implementation architecture views.
• Design secure system architectures using established patterns and principles.
• Identify and manage business and security risks.
• Review and enhance clients’ existing security measures with innovative architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams using agile practices.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in information security.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, or SABSA.
• Experience delivering security solutions for large-scale infrastructure or integration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• UK security roles require background checks and Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance; some roles require at least five years of continuous UK residency for higher-level security vetting.

Hiring process

• Initial call with a technology recruiter.
• Two 60-minute competency and technical interviews.
