Focus on leading multi-site engineering teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, and driving complex capital, technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; more than 40% travel required

What you will do

  • Define and execute the global engineering and advanced manufacturing strategy.
  • Develop long-term engineering roadmaps aligned with business growth and innovation goals.
  • Lead process optimization, automation, cost reduction, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Standardize manufacturing processes to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Build and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and oversee hiring, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and executive leadership while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO, and other global standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in advanced manufacturing or engineering leadership.
  • At least 8 years of senior-level engineering management experience with multi-site or global oversight.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel more than 40% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent lean manufacturing certification.
  • Experience integrating automation, robotics, or digital manufacturing technologies.
