Operator (Gas Distribution Pipeline Backhoe)

Location: Beaver Dam, Beloit, Fond du Lac, Janesville, or Waupun, Wisconsin, United States; ability to travel required.

What you will do

• Operate backhoes and other heavy equipment to maneuver and move materials throughout job sites.
• Set up job sites for gas distribution pipeline work.
• Complete daily equipment inspections before starting work.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and support safe delivery of natural gas to customers.
• Travel as required to support project work.

Requirements

• Prior gas distribution piping experience.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license for the types of vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement.
• Ability to travel.
