Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor) (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, United States; clinicians must be able to work with clients in Oneonta, Utica, Lake View, Massena, or Watertown, New York, and must have office space in the New York area. In-person care delivery is strongly preferred.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, from mild presentations to complex and severe conditions.
• Apply evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to client crises when needed.
• Deliver care remotely and, preferably, in person through a private or group practice.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical track, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted independent clinical license, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent, with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience providing evidence-based treatment and following clinical best practices, including measurement-based care and skills practice.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Office space in the New York area and ability to serve clients in the listed New York locations.
