Senior Associate, Strategic Initiatives (AI)

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Meet with business users to understand workflows, identify process breakdowns, and define solvable product problems.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code to build financial models, internal tools, and product features with guidance from senior teammates.
• Prototype solutions, gather user feedback, and iterate based on real-world usage.
• Review AI-generated output for correctness before release to users or production systems.
• Build and maintain financial models and analyses supporting lending programs.
• Support shipped tools, resolve user questions and minor issues, and escalate architecture, data, or infrastructure decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in finance, analytics, or operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and general comfort working with data.
• Strong curiosity about AI tools, perseverance with ambiguous problems, and critical-thinking skills for structuring complex business logic.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• No prior coding or software engineering experience is required, but willingness to learn to direct AI coding agents is essential.

• Experience with internal software, financial services, lending, or AI tools.
