Design Engineer - Fluid Systems

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year

What you will do

• Prepare concepts, designs, development plans, and feasibility studies for complex engineering projects.
• Build, test, and analyze prototypes for new fluid-system product concepts.
• Develop functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documentation.
• Support buy-build analyses, supplier development, and supplier performance activities.
• Prepare proposals and technical reports.
• Resolve product issues in collaboration with testing, service, plant personnel, suppliers, and consultants.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of product design and development from concept through production.
• Analytical thinking and root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Ability to work onsite in Mossville, Illinois, five days per week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• CAD design experience with Creo, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Simulation-led design experience and the ability to iterate designs based on analysis results.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach.
• Experience taking product designs from concept to production.
