Senior Oracle Database Administrator

What you will do

• Create and maintain database environments for testing, development, and production.
• Analyze, test, and implement physical database designs while documenting environments and maintaining current patches.
• Manage data recovery, database maintenance, data integrity, auditing, and capacity planning.
• Administer Oracle and SQL Server databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and business continuity.
• Consult with system administrators, technical managers, developers, architects, and application support teams.
• Support data integration, governance, reporting, analytics, and recommendations for business and IT solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, science, business, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Senior-level experience administering Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with distributed computing, data architecture, data visualization, statistical and predictive modeling, and machine learning.
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering reporting solutions and identifying BI solutions for business requirements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, relationship-management, and cross-organizational collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Nice to have

• SQL Server 2014–2022 and Oracle 12c, 19c, and 21c administration experience.
• SSIS package development, Reporting Services, database replication, mirroring, log shipping, and clustering.
• Oracle ASM, RAC, and Data Guard experience.
• Oracle and SQL Server major-version upgrade experience.
• T-SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, PowerShell, PostgreSQL, and MySQL experience.
