Business Operations Executive (Semiconductor)

Location: Germany, Steisslingen; other European locations considered. Remote work is indicated, with travel and collaboration across European sites, time zones, and cultures.

What you will do

• Partner with Business Unit General Managers to drive P&L performance, annual operating plan commitments, and strategic outcomes.
• Own the recurring management system, including Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, program reviews, and phase-gate reviews.
• Maintain dashboards, OKR tracking, and reporting that provide visibility into business and Service KPIs.
• Track actions, decisions, risks, and commitments to closure while driving structured problem-solving and timely resolution.
• Monitor field service performance, service and spares revenue, customer satisfaction, equipment uptime, and field service engineer readiness.
• Coordinate Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance, IT, and European sites around planning, forecasting, gross-margin improvement, and new-product introduction programs.

Requirements

• Based in Germany is strongly preferred; other European locations may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, operational excellence, program or project management, finance, or general management, including senior-executive partnership.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L, gross margin, forecasting, and operating metrics.
• Experience running governance or operating-review processes in complex, matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Fluency in English is required. German proficiency is strongly preferred.

• Service, aftermarket, or field-operations experience, including installed-base economics and uptime metrics.
• Semiconductor, capital equipment, or advanced-manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience with new-product introduction and phase-gate processes.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Additional European languages.
