Pharmacy Technician

Location: Remote-FL

Pay range: $19.43–$32.98 per hour

What you will do

• Review and process formulary change requests from Health Net plans.
• Submit and maintain formulary updates with the pharmacy claims processor.
• Generate, maintain, and review formulary status grids.
• Audit paid claims for quantity and billing discrepancies and support pharmacy audit and recovery activities.
• Research and resolve questions from physicians, medical groups, pharmacies, and members about prescription drugs and pharmacy benefits.
• Maintain Access database records for calls, faxes, and emails while collaborating with Clinical Pharmacists and medical directors when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• Ability to review claims, formulary information, and pharmacy benefit requests accurately.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
