Senior Engineer, Enterprise BI & Analytics (Power BI)

What you will do

• Own Power BI dashboards covering project profitability, resource utilization and capacity, client finance, pipeline and revenue, and FP&A.
• Integrate CRM, project and time-tracking, finance/ERP, and resourcing data into consistent star-schema models.
• Build and debug Power Query pipelines and develop DAX measures for profitability, utilization, coverage, YTD totals, weighted pipeline, and budget-versus-actual analysis.
• Produce recurring reconciliations and variance analyses, including forecast-versus-actual, utilization-versus-plan, and pipeline snapshot comparisons.
• Audit source-data quality, identify data issues before dashboard publication, and strengthen data governance standards.
• Create documented workbooks and reusable templates, explaining analytical results to Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and US-based leadership.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in data analysis or BI development with significant hands-on Power BI experience.
• Strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills, including independently building dashboards from raw exports.
• Solid data-modeling knowledge covering star schemas, fact and dimension tables, data grain, and multi-source integration.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and working familiarity with cloud data warehouses and ELT tooling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Python and pandas experience for data matching and reconciliation.
• Experience with project profitability, utilization, capacity, professional-services finance, or multi-entity reporting.
• Experience with HubSpot, Workday, project and time-tracking, or finance/ERP data.
• Experience working in AI-enabled analytics environments or using AI tools in BI work.
• Experience in integrated marketing, digital agencies, marketing services, or consulting.
