Capital Markets Summer Intern (Real Estate)

Compensation: $45/hour anticipated base pay

What you will do

• Analyze financial and operating data to support strategic business decisions.
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, reports, and analytics.
• Synthesize, cleanse, and monitor internal and third-party market data.
• Create presentations and materials for senior management and Blackstone stakeholders.
• Evaluate portfolio, financial, and operating performance against peers.
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects across Capital Markets workstreams using AI tools such as Copilot and Claude.

Requirements

• Current junior or rising senior at an accredited four-year institution.
• Interest in commercial real estate and capital markets; prior formal experience is not required.
• Comfort with financial, operational, and/or market analysis concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
