Clinical Operations Director

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; traditional office environment with frequent computer-based work.

What you will do

• Lead clinical operations across assigned oncology practice disciplines.
• Set annual performance goals and oversee evaluations and development plans for clinical staff.
• Drive clinical staff hiring, training, retention, onboarding, and continuing education.
• Develop operating goals and budgets, monitor departmental costs, and support new clinical service lines.
• Promote reimbursement compliance, documentation standards, and accurate charge code usage.
• Partner with practice management on quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, care delivery standards, safety, diversity, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related clinical field.
• Current state clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• 7–10 years of direct clinical experience in oncology.
• 5–7 years of progressive management experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MSN, MBA, or MHA.
• Oncology certification.
• Healthcare Quality Improvement certification, such as CPHQ or Six Sigma.
