Softgel Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Vista, California, United States. Third shift, Wednesday–Sunday, 8:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m.

Salary: $73,500–$83,400 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, production schedules, workflow, and output.
• Manage softgel compounding, including weighing, mixing, and raw-material verification against batch records.
• Monitor compounding and encapsulation parameters to maintain quality and specification compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes, coordinate with maintenance, and schedule regular equipment maintenance.
• Implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve production quality and efficiency.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees while enforcing safety guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least a high school diploma.
• 3+ years of direct softgel manufacturing experience, including compounding.
• Familiarity with softgel manufacturing processes.
• Ability to understand and follow company SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
• Strong team-building, decision-making, leadership, and people-management skills.
• Ability to read and write English, perform intermediate math, and physically lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.

Nice to have

• Mechanical experience.
