Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Berlin, Germany

Salary: €70,000–€110,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the full technical project lifecycle from discovery and scoping through production release.
• Work directly with customer teams to map workflows and identify adoption barriers.
• Convert customer processes into automated, AI-driven platform workflows.
• Build customer-tailored prototypes and iterate based on feedback and changing scope.
• Translate deployment insights into input for the core product roadmap.
• Develop reusable components and standardised implementation approaches.

Requirements

• 1–6 years of production software engineering experience shipping end-to-end systems.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS, Postgres, Prisma, and React.
• Ability to work directly with customers to scope, prototype, and iterate on technical deliverables.
• Ability to work in a small founding team environment with high ownership and ambiguity.
• Ability to work on-site in Berlin, Germany.

Nice to have

• Previous forward-deployed or solutions engineering experience.
• Familiarity with financial services, private markets, or fund operations.
