What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable backend services for a tools marketplace leveraging MCP.
• Optimize system performance to ensure low latency, high throughput, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning components into production.
• Lead technical initiatives from design and planning through implementation (3-9 month horizon).
• Drive operational excellence and contribute to the evolution of the engineering architecture and culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in Typescript and Node.js (ideally NestJS) or a willingness to learn and code in Typescript.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining highly scalable microservices.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, specifically Kubernetes and GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Familiarity with Kafka or NATS.
• Curiosity and openness to working with AI-assisted coding tools.
