Trading Operations Associate - Canvas Managed Option Strategies

Location: Onsite in Stamford, Connecticut, United States, five days a week

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity

O’Shaughnessy Asset Management is a research and money management firm within hirify.global, providing custom indexing and separately managed account services through the Canvas platform.

What you will do

• Facilitate and execute operational components of the managed equity derivatives and option overlay business.
• Support internal sales initiatives by coordinating with advisors, client associates, custodial partners, and distribution personnel.
• Assist portfolio managers and traders with the implementation and settlement of listed option transactions.
• Prepare sales analyses and presentations and address implementation questions with internal and external partners.
• Support technology and custodial partners in enhancing business operations.
• Perform daily reconciliations, performance reporting, security simulation analysis, and compliant books-and-records maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, or accounting.
• 2–4 years of experience in wealth management client service, trading, trade settlement, reconciliation, and trade break resolution.
• FINRA Series 65 or 66 license, or willingness to obtain one within 120 days of hire.
• Experience with custodians and clearing firms.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, order management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
