Focus on investigating out-of-control products, resolving equipment and process failures, driving corrective actions, and coordinating calibration and change-control activities.

Location: United States; nearest major market San Francisco and nearest secondary market Oakland

Base salary: $71,822–$107,732 per year, plus a performance-related bonus plan

What you will do

  • Monitor production quality, cycle time, EHS compliance, process consistency, and critical Statistical Process Control activities.
  • Investigate out-of-control products and process failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare statistical reports for customers and manage Nonconforming Material Reports through timely resolution and closeout.
  • Support quality investigations into customer complaints and develop Corrective Action Requests for batch manufacturing processes.
  • Write and update work instructions, troubleshoot process equipment, and follow Management of Change procedures for repairs and process changes.
  • Coordinate equipment and instrumentation calibration while supporting plant EHS activities, audits, permits, and waste-management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a four-year college or university.
  • 0–3 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control and strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, basic process control, pumps, piping systems, control valves, mixers, solids handling, and environmental control equipment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, collaborate with other departments, and follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English is required.
