Analytics Intern (BI/SQL)

What you will do

• Rebuild and optimize dashboards in Omni BI tool to improve loading speed and data accuracy.
• Develop Omni topics to enable non-technical team members to perform self-service analysis.
• Write and debug SQL queries against Snowflake and analyze dbt models to trace metrics.
• Execute end-to-end analysis requests, moving from initial questions to written recommendations.
• Document new builds and perform an inventory of existing analytics surfaces to identify reports for retirement.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude to accelerate routine tasks while ensuring data verification.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week on-site/hybrid in Austin, Texas.
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, and query debugging.
• Ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience using AI tools for productivity with a strong focus on verification.
• Proven ability to document work clearly for future maintainability.
