Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Roy, Utah, United States

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support finance processes and operational, sales and marketing, and financial accounting assignments.
• Support inventory closing processes and maintain accurate standard inventory costs.
• Review and verify vendor and customer statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Assist with truck costing, month-end reporting, and fixed asset accounting.
• Prepare operational, inventory movement, and purchasing variance reports using business metrics and Excel.
• Improve processes by removing non-value-added work and enabling technology use.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Based in or working at the Roy, Utah, United States location.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
• Availability year round, with the ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer and part-time during the school year.
