Finance & Accounting Intern

Location: Torrance, California, United States — onsite

Pay: $18.50 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and payment tracking.
• Reconcile accounts and financial transactions while maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets.
• Support month-end closing, budgeting, and financial reporting projects.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
• Organize accounting documentation and participate in business operations projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a community college, college, or university.
• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Completed at least two semesters of coursework or currently enrolled as a sophomore or higher.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Coursework in financial accounting, managerial accounting, or corporate finance.
• Experience with Excel functions, pivot tables, or financial analysis.
• Previous work experience, internship, or student leadership involvement.
