Senior Analyst, Carlyle Fund Accounting Processes (Fund Accounting)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; in-office 4 days per week

Base salary: $110,000–$120,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation

What you will do

• Support daily execution, production support, and quarterly reporting workflows for fund accounting systems.
• Manage reporting processes covering capital account statements, capital calls and distributions, ILPA reporting, and investor tax reporting.
• Act as a liaison between Fund Accounting and Global Technology Services, translating business needs into structured requirements for developers and QA teams.
• Manage and enhance Investran and Appian BPM applications while triaging support requests and communicating resolution timelines.
• Identify process gaps and automation opportunities, recommending solutions based on risk and business impact.
• Support change management through training, documentation, and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in fund accounting, finance operations, or business systems and process improvement.
• Production or operational support experience in a finance environment.
• Experience working with development teams in an agile environment and writing requirements, functional specifications, or process documentation.
• Accounting systems experience required; Investran experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of fund accounting principles, investor reporting, financial close processes, advanced Excel, and Jira or similar agile tools.

Nice to have

• Background in private equity, fund accounting, or alternative investment operations.
• Familiarity with Appian BPM, Salesforce, or PeopleSoft Financials.
