Physicist/Engineer (Simulation)

What you will do

• Formulate simulation strategies for complex industrial and research problems.
• Build, run, and validate simulations across various physical domains.
• Investigate convergence behavior, modeling assumptions, and discrepancies with experimental data.
• Develop reusable Python workflows, benchmarks, and technical demonstrations.
• Collaborate with customers and product teams to translate physical insights into actionable product feedback.
• Drive difficult, ambiguous technical problems toward trustworthy results.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in physics, aerospace/mechanical engineering, computational science, applied mathematics, or computer science.
• Strong foundations in physics, mathematics, or engineering with hands-on experience in numerical simulation.
• Proficiency in writing practical scripts, preferably in Python.
• Ability to reason from first principles and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
• Must be able to spend meaningful time with the team in the Katowice office.

Nice to have

• Experience with CFD, fluid mechanics, electromagnetics, or photonics.
• Knowledge of numerical methods for PDEs, optimization, or computational geometry.
• Programming skills in C++, Rust, or experience with GPU computing (CUDA, MPI).
• Background in AI or machine learning applied to engineering workflows.
