What you will do

  • Develop advanced measurement techniques and DSP algorithms for ultra-high-speed optical and electrical signaling systems.
  • Improve TECQ/TDECQ measurement accuracy and related algorithms for reliable product development results.
  • Support measurement work aligned with IEEE 802.3 standards and contribute to Functional Receiver measurement initiatives.
  • Research and build tools for ultra-high-speed serial data applications in AI infrastructure.
  • Drive hardware improvements to reduce timebase jitter toward 100 fs from current architectures above 250 fs.
  • Collaborate across engineering, research, and product teams while serving as a subject matter expert in high-speed serial measurements.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in digital signal processing for high-speed serial data measurements.
  • Hands-on hardware design experience with high-speed measurement systems, optical transceivers, or related photonics and electrical test platforms.
  • Experience with advanced measurement algorithms, signal integrity, jitter analysis, and high-bandwidth instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with IEEE 802.3 measurement methodologies and optical communication standards.
  • Ability to translate complex measurement challenges into practical algorithms, tools, and hardware improvements.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional engineering and research collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience with TECQ/TDECQ measurements, equalization, waveform processing, and receiver modeling.
  • Background in optical communications, high-speed SerDes, photonics, or AI infrastructure interconnect technologies.
  • Experience developing measurement automation tools, test platforms, or custom instrumentation workflows.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Applied Physics, or a related discipline.
