Development Summer Intern (Industrial Real Estate)

Salary: $30 per hour anticipated base compensation.

What you will do

• Support active industrial real estate development projects across site evaluation, due diligence, design coordination, cost estimating, financial modeling, leasing assumptions, construction management, and closeout.
• Maintain project files, trackers, contracts, invoices, permits, utilities documentation, and other development records.
• Help track project budgets, schedules, cash flow projections, and key milestones throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain market lease assumptions and update them as project budgets, schedules, and market conditions change.
• Coordinate documentation, permitting, utilities, and communications with project stakeholders.
• Support development closeout by collecting final documentation and confirming that financial records are finalized.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution and actively enrolled at the time of consideration.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, business, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Interest in commercial or industrial real estate, development, project management, investment, or construction; formal experience is not required.
• Basic understanding of real estate investment, financing, market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, development timelines, schedules, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills, with comfort interacting with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with project management tools or AI-enabled applications.
