What you will do
- Identify business needs and frame the questions that analysis must answer.
- Use SQL, Python, and/or R to acquire, organize, clean, and analyze data.
- Apply quantitative methods and basic statistics to uncover actionable insights.
- Present recommendations through PowerPoint, Tableau, written communication, and verbal data storytelling.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to implement and measure recommended actions.
- Build business-area expertise and mentor other analysts on analysis and data storytelling practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as business analytics, information science, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, marketing, consumer insights, or a related STEM discipline.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated coding experience in SQL, Python, and/or R; coding ability will be assessed during interviews.
- Skills in data acquisition, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, presentation, problem-solving, and basic statistics.
- Ability to present strategic recommendations and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must have the right to work in the United States and must not require current or future Toyota immigration sponsorship or work authorization support.
Nice to have
- MBA or master’s degree in an analytical field.
- Experience in auto finance or consumer lending.
- Professional experience in an area covered by the Analytics Job Family.
- Intermediate to advanced statistics knowledge.
