TL;DR

Procurement Professional with Italian (Operational Procurement): Executing purchasing strategies, creating and monitoring SAP purchase orders, verifying confirmations and invoices, and coordinating supplier quality and delivery issues with an accent on procurement operations, supplier communication, and order accuracy. Focus on tracking goods receipts, resolving quantity and delivery deviations, supporting quality notifications, and maintaining compliance with delivery and stock-level targets.

What you will do

Execute the procurement strategy defined by the Commodity or Lead Buyer.
Create purchase orders in SAP and follow them through goods receipt, including supplier reminders when required.
Verify order confirmations, quantities, delivery dates, and invoices, escalating price or condition variances to the Commodity Buyer.
Support compliance with EB requirements, on-time delivery targets, and low stock levels.
Forward and track quality notifications with internal quality assurance teams and suppliers.
Coordinate quality and delivery deviations and act as the first contact for supplier escalations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluent English and Italian, written and spoken, are required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Independent, structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
Ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Nice to have

Experience in operational procurement.
Knowledge of SAP.
