Software Developer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada; in-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required.

Salary: CAD 88,000–128,700 per year starting base salary, with potential additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, scalable, secure, and stable code for customer-facing products and reusable solutions.
• Build and maintain unit tests and participate in automation and regression testing.
• Document code, features, requirements, and technical specifications.
• Write and present code design specifications and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure software meets security, performance, and reliability goals.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to refine requirements and deliver features in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on Java programming experience and exposure to Spring Boot.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of AWS technologies including Lambda, ECS, and SQS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Willingness to lead when necessary.
