Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; hybrid

Hourly base pay: $24.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process, review, and reconcile invoices and accounts payable transactions.
• Ensure timely payments, monitor outstanding accounts, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain supplier records and process electronic transfers, payments, and corporate card transactions.
• Support month-end closing procedures, audits, and financial reviews.
• Administer corporate and purchase card programs, including the Oracle EBS credit card module.
• Audit travel and expense reports and coordinate issue resolution with business partners and banks.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accurate data entry and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and resolve issues.
• Ability to work primarily in an office environment, use a computer consistently, and spend at least 50% of the day on the phone.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle and SOX.
• Sales and Use Tax experience.
