Senior Director, Finance - Santa Anna

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead accounting setup, cleanup, financial controls, intercompany accounting, eliminations, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity across multiple labels and related ventures.
• Oversee monthly close, management reporting, variance analysis, balance sheet reviews, and corporate finance deliverables.
• Manage annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning for labels, joint ventures, acquisitions, and new business initiatives.
• Partner with accounting, global finance, tax, royalties, metadata, and technology teams to improve financial operations, data quality, systems integration, and reporting consistency.
• Support deal analysis, artist and label investment decisions, catalog and acquisition opportunities, royalty and recoupment analysis, and new venture business plans.
• Serve as a senior finance business partner and a reliable number two to the CFO, leading project management, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in music, media, entertainment, or a complex multi-entity environment.
• Deep technical accounting expertise, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, eliminations, and intercompany accounting.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations to senior leaders.
• Sophisticated Excel skills and experience analyzing large data sets.
• Hands-on leadership, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex projects at a granular level.
