Associate Director, AI Clinical Scientist (AI)

Salary: $169,222–$253,000 per year, plus incentive opportunity

What you will do

• Lead strategic and technical development of AI and data science solutions across discovery, preclinical, and clinical drug development.
• Apply machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, tokenization, and digital health technologies to scientific and clinical data.
• Develop advanced analyses of sensor, digital, metabolomics, proteomics, and genomics data to support biomarkers, endpoints, and decision-making.
• Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives and assess the feasibility and impact of integrating AI models into R&D workflows.
• Guide the planning, implementation, evaluation, and optimization of data science solutions and analytics systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, advise teams on AI and ML use, and contribute to scientific publications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI and advanced data science within pharmaceutical or biotech R&D.
• Expertise in scientific data analysis, drug development, real-world data, biomarkers, endpoints, and scientific or value evidence.
• Proficiency in AI, generative AI, machine learning, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLMs, and related analytical technologies.
• Expertise in digital health technologies and their applications in pharmaceutical research.
• Strong project management, strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in the United States at the Princeton, New Jersey location.
