AI Technology Consultant (Healthcare AI)

Location: USA; remote or office-based, with an ideal candidate location in the EST or CST time zones

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 annually base salary

What you will do

• Lead discovery and design of enterprise AI architectures aligned with business strategy and measurable client value.
• Define AI strategies, roadmaps, governance models, and reference architectures.
• Design and oversee ML pipelines, GenAI/LLM systems including RAG and agents, and data platforms.
• Architect secure, production-ready AI solutions across data, model, application, and integration layers.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, conduct architecture reviews, and enforce engineering standards.
• Run client workshops and discovery sessions, communicate with executive stakeholders, support presales solutioning, and develop reusable AI accelerators.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI/LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, orchestration, data architectures, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, with hands-on experience in Azure AI, Vertex AI, or AWS SageMaker.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, monitoring, governance, APIs, microservices, and big data platforms.
• Strong solution architecture experience delivering scalable, production-grade AI systems and connecting technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
• Experience leading client workshops, roadmap development, executive communication, and technical storytelling.
• Healthcare domain knowledge covering FHIR, HL7, EDI, EHR/EMR, RCM, clinical decision support, claims automation, and patient engagement.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, responsible AI, model lifecycle management, and monitoring for drift, bias, and model performance.
