Sr Engineer, Project Development - Midstream

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Regular U.S. position; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $141,300–$172,700 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and present growth and optimization projects for midstream transportation, logistics, gas gathering, and processing.
• Conduct conceptual design for projects involving crude, refined products, NGLs, natural gas, CO2, hydrogen, ammonia, and related products.
• Prepare budgetary and detailed cost estimates for pipelines, terminals, storage, connectivity, gathering, and transportation projects.
• Define project execution strategies and develop cost estimates aligned with realistic construction schedules and project risks.
• Coordinate with business development, strategy, operations, project execution, engineering, integrity, scheduling, and technical services teams.
• Present projects for management review and funding approval, and report front-end loading metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience in midstream and/or downstream oil and gas.
• Experience developing or executing oil and gas infrastructure projects, including scope, cost, and schedule management.
• Working knowledge of gas gathering, hydraulic modeling and flow, gas compression, gas processing, and NGL/residue markets.
• Experience with liquid and gas pipeline hydraulics simulation tools and applicable industry standards and codes is preferred.
• U.S. work authorization is required; temporary visa holders and candidates requiring sponsorship are ineligible.
