Lead Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the Berlin office

What you will do

• Partner with Sales to architect AI-driven solutions for enterprise banks, insurers, and other financial institutions.
• Translate customer priorities and problem statements into high-value Agentic AI use cases throughout the enterprise sales cycle.
• Lead proof-of-value projects combining customer data, ML/AI models, and the hirify.global platform to demonstrate strategic ROI.
• Build technical prototypes, demos, production-grade integration simulations, and workflows on the Agentic Decisioning Platform.
• Create reusable solution patterns and collateral, mentor colleagues, and lead technical strategy for customer engagement.
• Share prospect insights and competitive intelligence with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on experience writing production Python code.
• Experience navigating complex enterprise organizations and working with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to plan and manage technical scopes for proofs of concept and evaluations while supporting high-value enterprise deals.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, architecture, and APIs.
• Ability to explain AI and machine-learning models to technical leaders and financial-services domain experts.
• Availability to work from the Berlin office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Five to seven years of experience in enterprise solutions or sales engineering for B2B SaaS, or senior technical consulting.
• Experience building, tuning, or deploying production ML models with scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with AI use cases in fraud detection, credit scoring, underwriting, or other financial-services domains.
• Technical leadership experience through strategic account ownership, mentoring, or solution strategy.
• Domain expertise in banking, insurance, capital markets, or payments.
