Senior Litigation Paralegal (eDiscovery & AI)

Location: Bedford, MA; Miami, FL; Novato, CA; Somerville, MA; or Woburn, MA. Flex work model requiring onsite work 2–3 days per week or more based on business needs.

Annual salary: $121,100–$149,600 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and equity incentives.

What you will do

• Manage the full legal-hold lifecycle, including notices, custodian records, acknowledgments, reminders, reviews, and releases.
• Coordinate defensible preservation and collection of electronically stored information using Microsoft Purview or similar platforms.
• Partner with Legal, IT, Security, business stakeholders, outside counsel, and vendors to identify custodians, systems, data sources, and collection methods.
• Manage eDiscovery projects across multiple litigation matters, including processing, review coordination, productions, quality control, timelines, and documentation.
• Evaluate and manage eDiscovery vendors, budgets, invoices, service delivery, case trackers, discovery metrics, and status reports.
• Develop scalable playbooks and workflows, evaluate legal-hold software and AI-enabled eDiscovery tools, and support deposition preparation, witness interviews, hearings, and trials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
• 8+ years of paralegal, litigation-support, or related experience, including at least 4 years of direct eDiscovery experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or a similar preservation and collection platform.
• Strong knowledge of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production.
• Experience managing legal holds, complex document collections, vendors, budgets, invoices, concurrent litigation matters, document productions, chronologies, and reporting.
• Strong project-management, organizational, analytical, written, verbal communication, judgment, confidentiality, and cross-functional collaboration skills; occasional travel is required.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating or implementing AI-enabled eDiscovery, document-review, case-analysis, or legal-workflow tools.
• Familiarity with Relativity aiR, Everlaw AI, DISCO Cecilia AI, Harvey, Legora, CoCounsel, or similar platforms.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life-sciences, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Paralegal certificate.
