Equity Indexes - Corporate Actions - Senior Associate

What you will do

• Manage teams in Mumbai and Shanghai responsible for implementing APAC corporate events accurately in hirify.global indexes.
• Respond to asset managers’ and traders’ queries and support long-term client relationships.
• Review and approve client announcements about upcoming index changes using AI-assisted validation and consistency checks.
• Participate in global decision committees approving complex corporate actions and methodology changes.
• Improve corporate events methodology, processes, and applications through AI, machine learning, automation, data analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to quarterly index rebalancing and new hirify.global index product launches.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the financial sector with direct equity-market experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or an equivalent qualification; an engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience managing people and handling challenging environments.
• Ability to understand the impact of corporate actions on passive and active fund-manager portfolios.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, with familiarity with automation, data analysis, or AI-assisted tools.
• Excellent communication, planning, organizational, critical-thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration skills; flexibility in working hours is required.
